He hasn't had the best time over here, has he?
I remember not being able to get tickets for the Believe tour. The pressure I
felt, logging on to Ticketmaster, battling my way through the
WE-NEED-TO-MAKE-SURE-YOU'RE-AN-ACTUAL-PERSON-NOT-JUST-SIRI-WANTING-TO-SEE-BIEBER
security checks. (Anyone else struggle with those? I find them pretty hard
considering I don't have a GCSE in scribbles.) I was willing to pay nearly £60
for those tickets. Would have probably got a t-shirt there too. Maybe a
programme? Add another £40 onto that sum and there we have me spending £100 on
one night. So how would I feel if he were late onto stage? I would be a bit
shaky; fever-pitched adrenaline can really take it's toll on your body. But the
minute he stepped on stage the hours of waiting would be instantly forgotten.
But that's me. The middle-class mothers who could afford to pay for themselves,
their daughters and their friends apparently did not feel the same. "We
had to leave before he came on. The children had school in the morning!"
... ... ... Sorry, u wot m8? I understand that it was unacceptable as people
missed trains, but is privately educated kids missing first break that big of a
deal? STRIKE ONE.
He fainted. Like, actually collapsed. ON STAGE. He lay there motionless for a
couple of seconds. A bit worrying, don't you think? That didn't get nearly as
much coverage as him being late only nights before. Bit harsh, really. He went
off then came straight back on to finish the show. Given, his team probably
injected some vitamin shot directly into his bloodstream. But he did continue
with the show. Tweeted a picture of himself recovering later. Topless. Got a
bit of an attitude problem after boasting his Dr.Dre's in the photo. STRIKE
TWO.
At least he has some balls on him, supporting the fact that he is actually
male. (You should really listen to Runaway Love. Not even I can reach that
falsetto.) After having a shit week in a foreign country and being hated by the
media, he told them where to go. The usual manhandling by security to get him
safely to his car was occurring. Nothing new there; we've seen the bedlam
before. But when a photographer told him to "f*ck off back to
America" he was not happy. Not one bit. He rushed out of the car, pushing
away his team and asked "what the f*ck" he just said and screamed
that he would "f*cking beat the f*ck" out of him. STRIKE THREE.
YOU'RE OUT.
He's said that's he won't be returning to the UK anytime soon. There's
obviously some underlying and currently private issue going on. I really do
hope he's ok. Do you think the British press would be this tough if say One
Direction had the same week? Doubt it. They've locked on to this young and
"talentless" (their words, not mine) Canadian like a heat-seeking
missile. I think it's forgotten that although he apparently chose this
#thuglyfe, he is 19 and constantly surrounded by dozens of adults who are paid
to be there. I feel sorry for him.
